Marion County officials will consider a request for over $110,000 in grant funding for the World Equestrian Center’s 2027 Winter Series, which is projected to have a $23 million economic impact in the area and generate thousands of stays at local hotels.
The Marion County Tourist Development Council will review the individual grant applications submitted for each week of the 11-week equestrian competition series during its upcoming meeting on Thursday, Sept. 24.
