Boil water advisory in Mount Holly after water main break

MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Approximately 600 properties in Mount Holly are under a boil water advisory following a water main break Wednesday afternoon.

According to city officials, the break occurred on Westland Farm Road near N.C. 27 west of downtown. A water outage ensued, and as service is being restored, a boil water advisory was issued.

The break has been repaired, but low water pressure remains for city water customers.
