MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Two people are in custody following an early-morning drug bust in midtown Montgomery. Police say they seized thousands of dollars worth of illegal drugs, weapons, and cash during the raid near Ann Street and I-85.
Multiple units from the Montgomery Police Department served a search warrant around 6 a.m. on Cherry Street. The raid was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation sparked by a drug complaint, and it brought out MPD’s SWAT team, Narcotics, K-9, and Gang units.
Jerandum Cargill and Dominic Bethel were arrested at the scene and charged with drug trafficking…
