LINWOOD, PA — A 42-year-old woman was arrested after Lower Chichester Township police said employees accused her of leaving a Wawa with merchandise that had not been paid for at a self-checkout kiosk.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 12:31 p.m. Sept. 6 to the Wawa at 1439 Market St. for a reported retail theft, according to police.
Employees told officers that a customer had scanned and paid for only some of the items at the self-checkout before allegedly bagging and leaving the store with an additional $20.94 worth of merchandise, police said…
