CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A Charlotte 4-year-old was shot killed while his neighbor was injured in a shooting on Sunday morning, but police say so far there’s been no arrests.
Neighbors and Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are calling on the community to step up and help figure out who killed 4-year-old Caleb Flax. Police say the child was shot and killed on Sunday, Sept. 20, while asleep in his home.
On Wednesday Sept. 23, Flax’s grandfather and other community members shared a simple message: Flax didn’t deserve to die, their neighbor didn’t deserve to get shot and this is a senseless act of violence. They say someone needs to come forward so they can get justice for the victims…
