Part of Wilmington’s story in the American Revolution is now etched on a memorial.
A monument that was dedicated Wednesday explains the relatively recent discovery that remains of American and British forces – first buried at what is now Rodney Square and later disinterred – are contained in a mass grave at Wilmington-Brandywine Cemetery on Delaware Avenue.
