KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The jury foreperson in the trial of a Kansas City serial killer is offering insight as to why they may have found Fredrick Scott not guilty of two of the six murders.

The juror declined to be interviewed, but penned a three-page letter in which she said she wouldn’t talk about what was said in deliberations over the course of four days. But she did note after sitting through the two-week trial that people living in different situations could receive different attention.
She wrote she was proud of the effort, patience and seriousness the jury gave their discussions.She also said she was grateful to the people who worked for almost a decade on this investigation, but did offer a word of caution to crime scene investigators.
