COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) hosted an Impaired Driving Awareness Event on the University of South Carolina campus.
The department brought SCHP golf cart and “drunk goggles” to simulate the dangers of driving under the influence without leaving campus. Students put on the goggles, got behind the wheel of the golf cart, and tried to navigate a course of cones.
