SteelCraft Long Beach is expanding its annual Oktoberfest celebration this year to a three-day event from Friday, Sept. 25 to Sunday, Sept. 27 featuring various opportunities for attendees to indulge themselves in German culture.
Oktoberfest, known as the world’s largest annual folk and beer festival, began as a German tradition in 1810 to honor the marriage of a prince and princess.
Two centuries later, the event now serves as an opportunity to celebrate by drinking beer served in steins, traditional German mugs in which all brew is served during the festival.
