Update, 10:10 a.m.: The number of people impacted has climbed to 843 customers in Tacoma, 692 in Lakewood and 261 on Herron Island, according to outage maps from Tacoma Public Utilities, Puget Sound Energy and Peninsula Light Company respectively.
