COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Groveport man has pleaded guilty to workers’ compensation fraud after investigators said he ran his own business while collecting disability benefits he was not entitled to receive.
The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation said 47-year-old, Jovon Palmer was operating a cleaning business while receiving disability benefits.
According to the BWC, its Special Investigations Unit received an allegation that Palmer had returned to work despite actively collecting benefits.
