DELAWARE, Ohio (WCMH) — A verdict was reached in the trial of Modou Ngom, who was found guilty of all eight charges he faced for causing a deadly chain-reaction crash in April in Delaware County.
Court proceedings concluded Friday afternoon with Ngom being found guilty of three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and five counts of vehicular assault. The 12-person jury reached its verdict after nearly two hours of deliberation after hearing from the final witnesses on Friday, including Ngom.
The crash happened on April 11. A crash report said Ngom was following too close to the car in front of him, failing to slow his semi-truck in traffic. A family of three — Lynnea and Luke Soposki and their one-year-old son Logan — were killed in the crash…
