FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – A Rocky Mount man is in custody following a search warrant that revealed suspected narcotics and other contraband Monday, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Deputies said Adrian Corinthias Cook, 42, of Rocky Mount, was arrested and transported to jail. Deputies also said Cook was charged with:
- One felony count of Manufacture/Distribute Schedule I/II Controlled Substance, Third or Subsequent Offense
- One felony count of Possession of a Firearm While in Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance
- One misdemeanor count of Maintaining Common Nuisance Related to Narcotics
The Sheriff’s Office said its Special Operations Division, along with members of the Rapid Response Team, executed a search warrant in the 11000 block of Snow Creek Road in Rocky Mount Sept. 21.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators said they located and seized approximately 68 grams of suspected crack cocaine, multiple items associated with narcotics packaging, digital scales containing suspected drug residue, eight guns, and approximately $6,350 in U.S. cash…
