DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC/Gray News) – A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper returning from training was involved in a crash with a driver going the wrong way on the interstate Thursday.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Sgt. Goddard of the Memphis District was returning from a training session in Nashville when he encountered the driver on Interstate 40 in Dickson County.
Dashcam footage of the crash shows the other car barreling toward Goddard in the far-left lane of the interstate. Goddard appears to swerve to the left, narrowly avoiding hitting the car head-on…
