(NewsNation) — The suspect accused of fatally stabbing a Pittsburgh doctor and seriously injuring his wife inside their home has a lengthy arrest record, according to court records.
Elijah S. Hemingway’s criminal history, according to reports from WTAE, includes a 2025 assault on three deputies in Florida inside a Wells Fargo bank. Hemingway was charged and pleaded no contest to battery of a law enforcement officer.
In a second 2025 case in Florida, Hemingway allegedly punched his girlfriend multiple times and grabbed her by the neck. He was taken into custody on domestic violence charges.
