The West Perry School Board appointed Jennifer Bidoli to its vacant Region II seat Sept. 14 following a 6-2 vote that prompted a heated exchange between a board member, another candidate and members of the audience.
Bidoli was sworn in immediately after the vote and joined the board for the remainder of the meeting. Her term ends in 2027.
She fills the seat formerly held by Robbyn Metz, who resigned in August after being charged with multiple counts of retail theft. Police allege Metz stole more than $850 in merchandise from Willow & Wildfire, a Shermans Dale business where she had worked. The charges are allegations…
