PITTSBURGH — Both of Demetrice McCray‘s first-half receptions against Bucknell on Saturday went for touchdowns, making him the first Pitt freshman to snare two touchdown passes in a game since Tyler Boyd caught three during a win over Duke in 2013.
The true freshman wideout, who stands 6-foot-0 and weighs 205 pounds, entered the day with two grabs for 24 yards, and was overthrown by Mason Heintschel on what would’ve likely been a touchdown during last week’s win over Syracuse.
