By Sara Beth Williams– — Sunrise Recreation and Park District board members recently approved $4 million in capital improvement projects that are to take place throughout the park district in the next fiscal year.
During a special board meeting held this summer, 13 different line items in a capital improvement projects list were unanimously approved by the board.
Several of the upcoming projects taking place in Citrus Heights include the amphitheater planned for Rusch Park, for $1.5 million, a Rusch Park breezeway renovation project for $200,000, an HVAC system replacement at Rusch Park for $40,000, and pool renovations at Rusch and Antelope pool complexes, totaling $500,000…
