CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – The family of 4-year-old Caleb Flax, who was shot and killed while asleep in his northwest Charlotte home, said the community needs to come forward with information as police continue searching for multiple suspects.
No arrests have been made nearly a week after gunfire sprayed four homes and three vehicles on Grassy Patch Lane around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20
Flax and an adult woman were both struck by gunfire. Caleb was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he died shortly after 7 a.m. The woman was treated for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
