Plastic surgery is an unexpected place to find artistic freedom, according to Zionsville resident and U.S. Air Force veteran Lt. Col. Dr. Brandon Specht.
He first learned of the possibilities during a three-year residency at Cleveland Clinic, where he was introduced to plastic surgery.
“Plastic surgery to me is probably one of the very few surgical specialties that’s still very artistic and open to interpretation,” he said. “So, I can put my own personal touch and can really individualize our treatments and things like that for each and every patient. When I was in general surgery for a year as a staff at the Air Force, you’re very much doing similar surgeries that are very kind of stepwise oriented.”…
