A sailboat broke loose during the nor’easter and spent hours slamming into Keyport’s waterfront promenade, tearing out sections of railing and destroying a fishing charter’s dock.
By Sunday afternoon, sections of the railing along the Monmouth County borough’s promenade were gone. Others lay twisted on the walkway or in the water, with debris scattered nearby.
