SAND SPRINGS, Okla. – The Sand Springs Museum hosted its first Founders Day, bringing together volunteers, students and community members to honor Page and the impact he had on the city.
Sherry Clem, a volunteer at Sand Springs Cultural & Historical Museum and association board member, said the event is a way to keep Page’s story and the city’s history alive.
“This is the first time we’ve done it here as a Founders Day, and we’re excited to honor Mr. Page’s memory and his legacy,” Clem said.
