Four of five Lafayette establishments checked during a joint law enforcement operation targeting underage alcohol sales were cited for violations, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
The Lafayette Police Department’s Youth Services Section conducted the operation on Saturday, September 26, in partnership with the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.
Police said officers conducted compliance checks at five local businesses, with only one establishment passing the check without any violations.
