A Fresno phone repair technician is accused in a lawsuit of accessing and sharing private videos belonging to a teenage customer after she left her iPhone at a repair shop for a battery replacement.
ABC30 Action News reporter Ana Torrea reported that the 30-page lawsuit was filed in Fresno County Superior Court and names former CellPros technician Desmond Devon Fitzgerald, along with the company, in a case alleging negligence, fraud and a serious violation of the teenager’s privacy.
The girl was 17 at the time, according to the complaint, and her family says the concern now goes far beyond the two private videos they know were allegedly shared.
