ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—WFXR News highlights pets ready for adoption in area shelters through our weekly segment, Furry Friends!
On Tuesday, September 29, Kathy Bauman and Anita Finkle with the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) brought Lilly to the WFXR News Studio.
Lilly is a 6-year-old Dutch shepherd mix with a lot of love to give! This sweet girl has never met a stranger. She’s friendly, charismatic, and affectionate. Lilly enjoys cuddling and giving gentle hugs and kisses.
Furry Friends: Roulette says “take a chance on me”!
Lilly has a moderate energy level. She’s gentle on a leash and likes daily walks; however, she doesn’t need big adventures. If you are heading out, she rides great in the car.
Lilly has done well with kids and other dogs. She’s house-broken and knows commands, such as “sit”, “down”, and “paw”. Whether you’re by yourself or are a part of a family, Lilly would be a wonderful addition to almost any household.
