FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)- Deputies in Franklin County arrested a man on multiple felony charges after a pursuit ended with the suspect crashing into a utility pole.
The pursuit started around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 18 after deputies received an alert for a Nissan pickup on Snow Creek Road, near Fanny Cook Road, close to the Penhook community. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle belonged to Timothy David Robertson, 58, of Ridgeway, who was wanted out of Henry County on a felony probation violation.
A traffic stop was initiated. Robertson did not stop. Robertson allegedly reached speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour. The Nissan left the roadway and crashed in the 700 block of Hatchettt Road…
