A few curious cats greeted customers at Purrs in Paradise cat lounge as they celebrated their grand opening Saturday. Located at The CAMP in Costa Mesa, the tropical-inspired cat lounge combined a cafe setting with an area where visitors could interact with adoptable cats.
The business opened its doors to the public after years of planning by founders Ben and Michelle Lioe.
The Lioes’ journey to paradise began in 2020 after they rescued two feral kittens, Dozy and Leia. Their adoption inspired them to learn more about the number of cats still waiting to find their fur-ever home…
