HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Last week, News 13 spoke with Hendersonville homeowners who said FEMA buyout offers arrived too late and did not go far enough after they had already spent thousands rebuilding from Helene.
Residents in Clear Creek Landing said they initially thought the buyout program would be a “no-lose proposition,” but say it took two years for offers to arrive.
