Couple sentenced on animal cruelty charges after 53 animals rescued

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A couple from the town of Boston has been sentenced after more than 50 animals were rescued from unsanitary conditions on their property, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.

Officials said 37-year-old Jacqueline Joseph and 46-year-old Timothy Sylvester each received a one-year conditional discharge after pleading guilty to multiple animal cruelty charges last month.
