If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind place to grab a coffee, unwind and hang out with some furry friends, don’t stress meowt – Cat Cafe is the purr-fect place to be. As Tulsa’s first cat cafe, don’t stress meowt (5203 S. Sheridan Road) opened in 2025 with the goal of providing a space for the community to enjoy coffee, good eats and visit adoptable cats — all in the same place.
At the heart of the cafe is a cozy, contained cat lounge that is brimming with 30-40 available cats. The cats live in a comfortable, spacious environment created to help them thrive while they wait for their forever homes. The cafe partners with Skiatook Paws and Claws to foster cats at the cafe — supporting animal rescue and helping the felines gain exposure and increase their likelihood of adoption.
“Since opening, we have helped 182 kitties find their furrever home,” says the cafe’s Location Operator Madison Diedrich. “This helps get many cats adopted because, a lot of the time, people do not plan to adopt, but then a cat will fall in love with them and cuddle with them the whole time, and it is super sweet.”…
