Visionaries from all walks of life have built Tulsa into the city we experience today — from politicians and business professionals to artists and cultural leaders.
Now, six additional figures will be honored for their contributions by being named to the 40th class of the Tulsa Hall of Fame.
This year’s group includes Ken Busby, CEO of the Route 66 Alliance and a nonprofit leader; Reuben Gant, a former football star and co-founder of the John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation and the John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park; Elliot Nelson, creator of an array of restaurants and real estate developments; Rodger Randle, former mayor and senator; Judy Randle, a promoter of reading and literacy; and Gailard Sartain, the late actor who appeared in TV shows and movies such as “Hee Haw” and “Mississippi Burning.”…
