CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Gregory “Dee” Rankin, the newly appointed chair of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board of Education, said he will decide which board members will serve on a newly formed ad hoc committee tasked with overseeing the search for the district’s next superintendent following the firing of Dr. Crystal Hill last week.
“It’s going to be an inclusive committee,” said Rankin. “It is going to be an engaging committee.”
