Lawsuit nears resolution after Uber driver took 14-year-old to man who raped her

A settlement is close in a Georgia teenager’s sex trafficking lawsuit against Uber after attorneys for both sides filed papers agreeing on a resolution.

The lawsuit was filed by a Butts County teenager and her mother. According to the lawsuit, the girl was 14 when a man in Clayton County ordered an Uber around 1 a.m. to pick her up in Butts County.
