Man accused in downtown Madison attempted homicide pleads not guilty

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The man accused of firing at least 16 rounds, injuring two people, in a downtown Madison shooting over the summer pleaded not guilty Wednesday, online court records show.

Rakim T. Parson was arrested in June after he was accused of shooting into a car and injuring two people.

Parson ran away from the scene, but was later found hiding under a staircase in an alley.

He faces two counts of attempted first degree homicide and three counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety…
