MADISON, Wis. — Another candidate is entering the Madison mayoral race.
Marcus Robert Johnson, a champion boxer and east side bartender, launched his campaign on Tuesday. He said is campaign will focus on government transparency and integrity as well as housing affordability and public safety.
“Madison deserves a mayor who puts integrity first,” Johnson said. “Not politics as usual, but honest leadership that treats every resident with respect.”
