Former Madison teacher’s request to drop grooming charge is denied

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A former Madison teacher who is accused of grooming one of his students will not have a charge dismissed.

Online court records show Eliav Goldman, 30, was charged in March with sexual misconduct by school staff or volunteer and grooming of a child for sexual activity.

In July, Goldman and his attorneys filed for the grooming charge to be dismissed.
