A high-speed, early-morning chase that began in downtown Boise ended with a DUI arrest in Meridian.
On Sept. 30, 2026, around 2 a.m., Boise Police say an officer attempted to stop a driver seen driving erratically on Front Street. Police say the driver then sped up, reaching more than 100 mph on the connector, and failed to stop.
