Katie Shelton asked how long a closed, unoccupied industrial site might remain in a neighborhood.
“I know some of these buildings have been vacant for years and years and years,” the North Birmingham woman said. “How long (are) businesses just not occupied? How long do they stay? All they’re doing is deteriorating. The building is deteriorating. It’s not doing any good for the community.”
