Chinatown will turn into a massive night market with 90+ vendors on Oct. 8

For one night this October, the heart of Chinatown will spill into the street.

YèShì Chinatown Night Market returns Thursday, Oct. 8, from 6 to 10 p.m., taking over 10th Street between Arch and Winter streets and Race Street between Ninth and 11th streets with food vendors, live performances, arts and crafts and shopping.

The Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation started YèShì in 2011 to bring people into Chinatown and support neighborhood businesses. The event has drawn more than 20,000 people in previous years. This year’s market is expected to feature more than 90 vendors, including Chinatown restaurants, food trucks, artists, crafters and local organizations…
