Sapulpa orders Regency Inn second-floor families to evacuate over life-safety violations

SAPULPA, Okla. — Families living on the second floor of the Regency Inn in Sapulpa are scrambling to find a new place to stay after the city ordered them to leave following an inspection that found what officials described as serious life-safety violations.

Elora McLain said the sudden move is especially difficult with children and limited options.
