Hawk fire victim says Washoe Co. took metal salvage off property without permission, notification

STEAD, Nev. (KOLO) -A Hawk fire victim says crews tasked with removing hazardous materials from his property took salvage items without his permission after the fire destroyed his metal shop and sheds.

Spencer Buelna, 31, lives near Stead off U.S. 395 near Peavine Peak, which was in the path of the Hawk fire. His home had barely a scratch, but his workshop and sheds were destroyed.
