Death Metal giant Dying Fetus to slay Spokane Knitting Factory

Although Dying Fetus formed about a decade too late to be considered one of the founders of death metal, the Maryland-based band has carved out its own niche somewhere between the extreme complexity and speed of technical death metal and the guttural growls and deep, heavy riffs of brutal death metal.

From the band’s first album Purification Through Violence in 1996 and its 2000 Relapse Records debut Destroy the Opposition to its most recent LP, Make Them Beg For Death, Dying Fetus has shocked its audience with brash vulgarity and untamed musical prowess.
