HOUSTON (CW39) — After 76 years, Rice Stadium will have a new name after Rice University announced a 20-year naming rights deal.
The school announced that the aging football stadium that hosted Super Bowl VIII in 1974 and a major speech by President John Kennedy in 1962 will now be known as First Community Stadium after a collaboration agreement with First Community Credit Union.
