MERIDIAN, Idaho (CBS2) — Downtown Meridian will turn into a daylong Oktoberfest celebration Saturday, Oct. 3 as Meridian Oktoberfest returns to Idaho Avenue and Second Street with food, drinks, live music, local vendors, family activities and traditional contests.
Hosted by the Meridian Chamber of Commerce, the festival is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Organizers are expecting over 15,000 attendees from across the Treasure Valley and beyond.
Organizers created the festival to draw people into downtown Meridian while supporting local businesses, vendors, restaurants, breweries and community organizations.
