Detectives with the Regional Narcotics Unit (RNU), with assistance from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) K9 Unit, arrested two suspects during a traffic stop in Reno on Wednesday.
Authorities say the arrests were part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of illicit narcotics and resulted in the seizure of approximately 424 grams of fentanyl, 229 grams of methamphetamine, and two illegally possessed firearms.
