The Nevada Gaming Control Board posted its July 2026 revenue report on August 27, and two of its pages describe cities about 440 miles of highway apart. Slot machines on the Las Vegas Strip kept 7.83% of the money played through them that month. In the Reno area, they kept 5.59%.
Those two cities and Atlantic City, on the far side of the country, are the natural anchors for a drive between America’s big casino towns.
