Tampa-based Concurrent Investment Advisors has acquired Spire Investment Partners, adding roughly $5.4 billion in assets and more than 30 advisor teams as the wealth management platform grows from $16.8 billion in assets under management at the beginning of 2026 to $28.6 billion nine months later.
The Sept. 30 asset purchase is Concurrent’s first acquisition of another platform business at this scale, rather than another advisor team joining its network, and gives the Tampa firm a home-office presence in Northern Virginia. Terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 1997 and headquartered in McLean, Virginia, Spire built its business around independent financial advisors who own their practices and client relationships while relying on the firm for technology, operations and other infrastructure.
