Grand Prairie Man Sentenced to 40 Years After Jury Convicts Him of Meth Distribution Charge

FORT WORTH, Texas – A 40-year-old man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after a Tarrant County jury convicted him of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Jesse Mojica was convicted following a case that began with an April 26, 2025, traffic stop involving Grand Prairie police.

Officers arrested Mojica on outstanding warrants during the stop. Police also found several baggies containing methamphetamine and a digital scale in his pockets, according to information released Oct. 1…
