LAPD detectives take suspect into custody on $3 million bail following a deadly bus attack.
Members of an LAPD-FBI task force arrested Jose Zayas without incident around 2:07 p.m. in the 3600 block of Motor Avenue. Zayas was booked on suspicion of murder, with bail set at $3 million, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The arrest stems from a Thursday evening shooting inside a Culver CityBus in the 3900 block of Centinela Avenue. Officers responding to an ambulance call around 5:12 p.m. discovered the driver unresponsive in his seat with gunshot wounds.
