Mill Creek Park Restoration Project Transforms Trail Over the Summer

The team will hold an educational walk this Saturday, October 10th, at 11:00 a.m. to learn about Mill Creek Park’s ecosystem and restoration efforts at the site.

Mill Creek Park South’s planned restoration project is officially underway and visible to pedestrians along the Mill Creek Trail.

The project, initiated by the conservation non-profits Ann Arbor Trout Unlimited (AATU) and the Washtenaw County chapter of Pheasants Forever, is a collaboration with students from the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS), the City of Dexter, the Huron River Watershed Council, and the local environmental firm PlantWise, LLC.
